Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information the Raseef 33 website and our reservations collect, why we use it, and the rights you have. In short: the website has no forms or accounts and uses no cookies, analytics or advertising tools. Personal details reach us only when you book a table or get in touch.
Who is responsible
Raseef 33, a restaurant at HaNamal 33 in Haifa, is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us using the details at the end of this page.
What the website does not collect
The website is built to collect as little as possible:
- There is no sign-up, account, contact form or newsletter.
- There are no analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and no social-media pixels.
- The website sets no cookies.
- Our fonts and our menu are delivered from our own server, so viewing the site or the menu does not connect your browser to Google or any other outside service.
Settings saved on your device
To remember your choices between visits, the website saves a few settings in your browser's local storage, on your own device:
- The language you chose
- Light or dark appearance
- Your accessibility settings, such as text size or contrast
- Where you moved the accessibility button
These settings contain no personal details and are never sent to us. Because they only make the site work the way you set it, we do not ask for separate consent to store them. You can remove them at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser; the site will then return to its default settings.
Technical information
Like any website, the servers that deliver these pages automatically receive basic technical information with each request: your IP address, your browser and device type, the page requested and the time. It is used only to deliver the website, keep it secure and fix problems. It is kept in our hosting provider's server logs for a limited period, and we do not use it to identify you or to build a profile of you.
Table reservations
Online reservations are handled by Tabit, an outside reservation service: the "Reserve a Table" button takes you to Tabit's website. The details you enter there, such as your name, phone number, email address, date and time, number of guests and any notes, are collected by Tabit and passed to us so that we can manage your booking. Tabit's own use of this information is also covered by Tabit's privacy policy, available on its website.
If you book by phone, we record the details needed for the booking in the same way.
You are not required by law to give us these details. Without a name and a way to reach you, however, we cannot hold a table for you.
We use reservation details only to manage your booking and to contact you about it, for example if something changes. We do not sell them or use them for advertising, and we keep them only for as long as these purposes, or the law, require.
Links to other services
The website links to Google Maps, Waze, Google reviews, Instagram and Tabit. These are ordinary links: nothing from these services is embedded in our pages, so they receive no information from our website unless you click through to them. Once you are on their sites or apps, their own privacy policies apply.
Who we share information with
We share personal information only with the service providers that run our website and reservations (our hosting provider and Tabit), only for those purposes, or when the law requires us to. We do not sell personal information.
Your rights
Under the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 1981, you may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete information that is inaccurate, incomplete, unclear or out of date. To make a request, contact us using the details below; we may first need to confirm your identity.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Privacy Protection Authority at the Israeli Ministry of Justice.
Keeping information safe
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, and only staff who need reservation details to do their work can see them.
Children
This website is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
If the way we handle information changes, for example if we add a contact form or a tool that measures visits, we will update this policy before the change takes effect and change the date at the top of this page.
